Member of the Bar in Koln and of the Bar in Brussels
Matthias MÜLLER-TRAWINSKI was born in Helmstedt in 1973. After his military service in the German Marine corps he studied law at the university of Bonn, specialising on international and European law. In the course of his Referendariat at the Court of Appeal in Brandenburg, he specialised in criminal law as well.
In the course of his studies, MÜLLER – TRAWINSKI used to work for the Representation of the European Commission in Bonn. He more precisely took care of the EU-Infopoint. In the course of the Refendariat he worked as a journalist for the Europa-Kontakt Verlag in Berlin as well.
He published several articles for this editor: on European programs of subsidy, as well as on the European partnership law, cartel law and patent law.
He partly did his work placement for the office * M O O N S *, and after becoming a member of the Bar in Koln and of the Bar in Brussels, he became an associate of the office. His main task consists of directing and expanding our department in Koln.
In the office, MÜLLER – TRAWINSKI mainly concentrates on family law (matters of divorce, allowance, custody and succession) and on problems with liability, mainly with regard to traffic accidents and other delictual or quasi-delictual disputes.
He is also active as a criminal lawyer. Of course, bearing in mind his education, it is logical that he keeps working an writing on commercial and law of carriage, international law and European law as well. German rent law and the validation of claims also belong to his tasks.
